JOURNEY ITINERARY

THESSALONIKI

This is where we begin. Thessaloniki is so much more than just the Nymph of Thermaikos. As a Byzantine scholar once said “No one can stay without a home, as long as Thessaloniki exists” and one can easily feel its warmth hospitality just by entering the city. Together, we will discover its outstanding monuments which are included in the World Heritage List of Unesco. We won’ t leave the city without tasting the famous street food!

ANCIENT CITY OF OLYNTHUS

According to Greek mythology, the city was either named after the son of Hercules or the river god Strymon. Whichever the case, we will wander through its archeological site admiring the beautiful mosaics which are preserved until today and we will learn about the city’ s political importance in Chalkidiki during the Classical period. Allow us to host a great candle-light dinner on board as we spend the night in Porto Koufo port.

PORTO KOUFO

The other side of the second peninsula awaits! As we are crossing it, we will be stopping for glorious dives into small water bays; there are so many to choose from. Kalamitsi beach is a must-do! With its semi-circle shape, blue clean waters, warm atmosphere and a little island facing it, this place will make you love it in a second. This is a full day of greek sea and sun appreciation.  After sailing 15 NM, we will reach our next port for some good shut-eye and dinner will be served.

DIAPOROS ISLAND

Enjoy your morning sailing 17 NM north towards the islet of Diaporos. A swim stop at Portokali beach, which is surrounded by a gorgeous limestone complex, is more than welcoming. The green-turquoise shallow waters almost feel like a pool! Diaporos is an astonishing, unexploited island protected against strong winds, which makes it a perfect shelter for yachts and of course, your relaxation. The sea is crystal-clear and the shore is a bit rocky at some places, shaping many natural reefs. Tonight we dine at the beach!

AMMOULIANI ISLAND

It is unlikely that you haven’ t snorkelled yet in this journey, but if this is the case you simply cannot miss this spot. Surrounded by several small islands that serve as a barrier from the waves and the wind, this vivid aquamarine coloured lagoon called Drenia, will make you think you are at the height of bliss! Absorb moments of peacefulness at small coves, swim along with colourful sea creatures, be grateful for life. We got you covered.

ANCIENT CITY OF STAGIRA

Place of birth and burial of the great philosopher Aristotle. We will take a walk inside the ancient city, observing the well-preserved Agora, the archaic sanctuary and various public buildings from the early Classical period. Visiting the top of the hill, reflecting what you just saw will offer new ways to ease your mind and soul. Not forgetting the body, (as real Greeks) we will take a refreshing dive afterward at a hidden beach nearby.

SARTI

Taken its name from the king Sartios, Sarti has got one of the widest coastlines in Northern Greece and exquisite nature. The nearby Platanitsi beach could be the perfect closure of your adventures with us in Northern Greece. Warm turquoise waters, clear view of the Mount Athos and plenty of white powder sand to lay upon. We feast and reminisce about our journey later on the deck.
